  • Licensable and transparent — Systems increasingly respect and surface content with clear usage rights and provenance.

If your research can't be found, parsed, and synthesized by the tools researchers actually use, it’s virtually invisible.

The Cost of Ceding Control

But visibility in third-party answer engines isn't enough. When Google or ChatGPT surfaces your content, you've achieved distribution, but you've lost the relationship.
